Do you feel that your kids run the house instead of you? What about their respect levels for you? These are the topics that Dr. Leman tackles in this episode.

Davi’s Question-

I feel that I’ll never be the parent that my son 7 and Daughter 5 will respect. I’m not as good at discipline as I’d like to be and my son is RUNNING the house with my daughter is not too far behind. I know what I need to do but why can’t/don’t I follow through. Will my kids become the kind of kids no one wants to be around? Will it ever get easier?

A parent who struggles with feeling respected by his kids is struggling with insecurity. It is tough to hold kids accountable. It is tough to tell them, “No.”

Remember this: LOVE WITHOUT LIMITS IS CHAOS

Or, one of my favorite ways to look at it is: “An unhappy child is a healthy child”

Making a difference in your parent/child relationships will start with you. I can 100% guarantee that you will see a change in relationship if you start with YOU!
